Trunk Shows & Presentations
Local to New England or one of our scheduled shows? Want your guild to thank you for an entertaining evening of Fun, Fabric and Festivities? Contact us about a Trunk Show for your Guild. We offer a 30-90 minute presentation, depending on your guilds needs. We speak on how our family business was started, the exciting trials and tribulations of traveling with quilt shows, marbling fabric, our innovative Stained Glass Technique, and more! We show dozens of samples of our work, including some of our earliest and most primitive pieces up to our current masterpieces that are sure to dazzle and entertain you all.
We also offer most of our products to you and your guild right there at your guild meeting (We don't have a retail store, so our products are normally available only at Quilt Shows and our website). Your members can browse through totes of our Hand Marbled Fabrics, Stained Glass Kits, Fat Quarter Bundles and much more, all right there at your guild meeting! Stained Glass Technique:
Learn to do a new innovative stained glass quilting technique! No needle turn, no applique, no fusible! A different method of creating sStained Glass Quilts with 50% less stitching! Plus get to work with our delicious marlbed fabrics!
All workshop kits include Marbled Fabric, Background Canvas, Leadline, Applicator, Batting, Backing, Binding, Pattern & Directions. Other materials available for usage and/or sale include Roxanne's Glue Baste-it; Presser Squares; Sixth Fingers.
Participants should bring: Pen/pencil, scissors, sewing machine (full day only) w/black thread.
(Hand quilters: Hand Quilting will work and will be provided with additional instructions as well )

Applique for Cheaters:
Want to achieve that stunning look of raw edge applique, but just don't have the time to do it? Learn a new technique that allows you to create Quilt Projects that looks like applique but isn't! No needle turn or satin stitching! A fun and creative way to amaze your friends with quilts that look like they took years to make!
All workshop kits include Marbled Fabric, Background Canvas, Leadline, Applicator, Fabric Markers, Batting, Backing, Binding, Pattern & Directions. Other materials available for usage and/or sale include Roxanne's Glue Baste-it; Presser Squares; Sixth Fingers.

Quilt-As-You-Go (aka Lap Quilting):
Unable or just plain tired of crawling around on the floor to pin your top to your batting and backing? Use this technique to attached individually quilted blocks into a larger quilted blanket or project! Learn a process that will serve you with any size blocks or quilted projects. Never struggle with a huge pinned quilt being jammed into your sewing machine again!
All workshop kits include Marbled Fabric, Batting, Backing, Binding, & Printed Directions.
Participants should bring: Pen/pencil/chalk, scissors, rotary cutter & mat, ruler or ruler square (7" square) sewing machine, needle & thread.

Make Your Own Marbled Fabrics:
Love to ogle our delicious marbled fabrics? Want to learn to make your own? Need a fabric that has 5 particular colors but you can't find a piece that has them all? Here's the perfect opportunity to make your own marbled fabric! Each participant will take home about 2 yards of hand marbled fabric that they painted! Your imagination will work overtime when you stand before our marbling tray, ready to select paint colors and prepare them for the marbling process! A great activity to do with a group of friends and guild members!
Workshop fee includes all materials needed for marbling, including paint, sizing, fabric, and marbling tools. Participants will take home between 1.5 and 2 yards of hand marbled fabric (depending on amount of time spent working on each piece). Separate kits for marbling at home will be available for independent purchase after class.
Participants should bring: 'paint clothes', rubber gloves (optional, not required for safety, only cleanliness)
NOTE: If you have special fabric that you want to paint on, it must be received by Quilters Treasure 3 days before class so that it can be washed and pre-treated for Marbling process. Please contact Brian directly with questions about bringing your own fabric selection to marble.
