This is a design to have fun with. The design of the balloon can be is whatever you choose. I have shown you 2 possibilities, but there and infinite ways to do the balloon. Try dividing the balloon in 3 sections. Have fun. On the front page I have used a crazy quilt pattern with the many decorative stitches on the right, and bright colors in the patter on the left.
When choosing the shape of your quilt, consider where it will be used and how it will be hung. Be adventurous; try different color combination, sizes or borders, different embellishments.

A splash great contrast of colors offers a simple but elegant wall hanging. Combine with other patterns to make a lap or bed quilt. Great for beginner to advanced.
